Enter the cave and walk up the the "sparkling" area of the wall "A" (see pic) and press Button I. Now walk N, W, then S through the wall and you will end up at "B". Press Button I then walk E then S though doorway.
Follow the path around and go down the ladder. Walk N and enter the building with the guards on either side of the door. Talk to the king.
-CUT SCENE-
Choose the top answer both times then walk into the next room and get the MAGIC SCROLL there.
In order to make the next part of the game easier it's time to take a little side trip back to Marah. Exit Contole island the way you came in and from the world map go back to Marah.
Remember that sword we saw earlier in Marah but couldn't get to? That's what we're going to get now. Once in the town of Marah, go back into the underground waterway through the iron gate.
Go down the stairs and down another set of stairs.
Walk S to the monument and use the magic spell you just recieved in Contole Island. A walkway will then appear (see pic).
Walk W, go up the stairs, flip the wall lever and get the ETHER SWORD! (see pic) This is a great sword for your swordsman so go ahead and equip it. Exit the underground waterway.
Remember that Fur you found earlier on Pirate Island? Well you can take it to the man upstairs in the house with the water running under it. He will trade you the deed to his house for it. Inside your new house you can get TREASURE [Clothes Of Ortiz]. I can't tell any effect, if any, this has on the game.
Stock up on any healing items and holix you may need and head back to Contole Island.
Refer to the section above to get back to the "town" part of Contole Island.
Go into the first building and use your new magic spell here (see pic) to make stairs appear. Go down the stairs.
Go N to SAVE POINT. Push the button switch on the pillar (see pic) then flip the lever. Walk N then go down the stairs.
Walk all the way SE and go down the stairs.
Head N and press the button on the pillar (see pic) then back S toward stairs to...
-FIGHT-
Now go up stairs and head NW and take the stairs down. Flip the lever then go all the way S and up the stairs.
Walk S and step on floor switch here (see pic).
Now go W and get the MAGIC SCROLL [Fast Speed] (see pic). Head back E and go through where the wall opened up then SE and take the stairs down.
Go N then W to find TOOL [Mega Blast] then go all the way N to...
-FIGHT-
Continue N over bridge and up stairs to another...
-FIGHT-
Go up the stairs that are just S of you. Use magic scroll here (see pic) to make bridge appear. Go across bridge to SAVE POINT.
Go down the stairs then E, S, then W.
Now go all the way W and down the stairs to get ARMOR [Magic Leather Helm] (see pic).
Back up the stairs and go E. Use magic scroll here (see pic) to make passage appear. Enter and go NE and use magic again to get through the wall.
Go N to the wall and use magic again to get PERMANENT HOLIX [Crystal Of Death For Honor] (see pic).
Now go back and through the big doors to...
-BOSS FIGHT-
-CUT SCENE-
Go W and use magic to remove wall then go down the newly opened stairs down. Head N to get TREASURE [God Of Water Idol] (see pic). Back up the stairs then S, E, N, then W and up the stairs to SAVE POINT.
Go SE, open the door and go up the stairs to Contole.
Talk to the king and give him the idol (see pic). Now exit Contole and go to Yeolgue.
