Enter the INN and talk to the drunk at the bar. He tells you about a KEY you'll need to find. We'll do that in a minute, but first search the INN to find TREASURE (silver coin). After you find the TREASURE exit the INN.

See the "NECKLACE" on top of the tower? (see pic) Go on up there and get it.

Next, search the weapon shop to find TREASURE (silver coin).

Enter the house with the waterfall going through it. If you go up to the table with the lady behind it, you can read the ledger. If you go around behind the table and talk to the lady, she will buy certain TREASURE from you just like the guy did in Jupito. Choose top answer to do so.

Still have that KEY you stole in YALEM? If so, head upstairs, unlock the door and search to find TREASURE (gold coin).

Time to go to the "guarded house" (see pic). Show the "NECKLACE" to gain entrance. Read all of the books downstairs then head upstairs for 4 gold and TREASURE (gate KEY). Yep, this is the key the drunk told you about in the INN.

Exit the house and make your way over to the CHURCH. Go up the stairs for a SAVE POINT.

Exit the CHURCH and go E to the stairs down. Search the house E of the CHURCH for TREASURE (silver coin).

Seems there are some critters S of here that need exterminated so go take care of them.

-FIGHT-

Now head SW and and use your KEY to enter the iron gate to the underground waterways. (see pic)

Underground Waterway

Go down the stairs. You'll find yourself besides two sets of stairs, one going up and the other going down.

Go up the stairs to get TOOL (herb) then go back down.

Now go down the other set of stairs. Head S then W to get TOOL (Agil +1).

Back N up the passage to...

-FIGHT-

Go to skeleton in corner and read NOTE then go back up the stairs.

Head W then N. Flip switch to get heal potion.

Continue W to stairs and go up. There are some switches up here you need to flip. If you take a look at the pic (see pic) it shows you which way to flip them. The W switch you press right. The E switch you press left. This will lower a gate. Go S then E to the other switch and press it down.

-CUT SCENE-

No head all the way back to where we started beside the two sets of stairs.

Go S, W, S to....

-FIGHT-

NOTE: While exploring this area, you may notice a sword that you can't seem to get to (see lower left area of pic). You can't reach it at this time but don't worry, we'll be back later in the game to get it. Thought I should tell you that now so you don't waste your time.

Go W and flip switch which will allow you to get TREASURE (gold rock) and TOOL (herb).

Head E and read the sign on the wall. Yeah, I already had you do that. Told you I'd try to get you through this quickly. Anyway, continue on E to...

-FIGHT-

Flip switch and go N. Take a turn to the E, flip switch and get MAGIC SCROLL! This is a usefull spell indeed.

Go N, W, N and flip switch. Then head N, W and up the stairs.

Go out the one door, in the other, and flip switch. (see pic) Good, now flip the other switch that just appeared. Time to head back down the stairs you came up.

No go up N through the passage you just opened up then head W, S, E and up the stairs to...

-FIGHT-

Now head S and outside. Go W to another iron gate and go inside.

Go down the rope hanging here and you'll see a SAVE POINT. You know what that means...

Go S where you'll see a lovely lady sitting on an island in the water. Hmmmm.

-BOSS FIGHT-

-CUT SCENE-

You're now back in the CHURCH in Marah.

Exit the CHURCH and go into the INN. Yar! There be pirates in here!

-CUT SCENE-

Heal up if needed, otherwise exit the INN and Olga speaks to you.

Go over to the CUSTOMS building (see pic) and enter. Try to pass in front of the man standing behind the table and he will tell you that you'll need a passport to exit the city. Guess we better go find one.

Go back to the CHURCH and talk to the priest inside. You will recieve TREASURE (passport). That was easy.

Exit the CHURCH, go back to the INN. Go upstairs to the room with the pirate and lady and go inside.

-CUT SCENE-

Choose the top answer both times the pirate asks you a question. Exit the INN.

Now back to the CUSTOMS building and talk to the man standing behind the table.

-CUT SCENE-

Go back to the INN yet again and go inside. The pirate will talk to you. Time to exit the INN and go back to the CUSTOMS building again.

Walk past the man and show him your passport. Now exit the CUSTOMS building out the W door. The pirate will be waiting for you outside and will ask you a question. If you're not quite done shopping and sightseeing in Marah, chose the second answer. Don't forget, the lady in the "waterfall house" will buy the gold rock you found earlier. When you're ready to move on, choose the top answer and you'll be off to Pirate Island.
