Map Of Rostarl

This will be your first of many trips to the Bluish City Of Rostarl, whatever that means. Please refer to the map above for this part of the walk through since I wasted way to much time making it. It's got a "where's Waldo?" vibe going on. Moving right along...
There is a SAVE POINT just N of the boat dock.
No need to buy any armor or weapons yet. First we're going to add the final person to our little party. Ready? Good.
NOTE: This step is very important! Head over to the fortune teller's house (map building "L") in the SE part of town. Go inside and talk to her to hear your fortune. When she's done, search her house for TREASURE [Silver Coin].
Now head to the big house with the clock on it (map building "B"). This is the magic house. Go inside and two guys will appear then dissapear. Now go through the door E of the two staircases and the same two guys will appear and dissapear again. Hmmm, let's get out of here. Attempt to exit the house.
The two guys appear again. This time there should be a third guy who appears in the middle as well. He'll talk to you. Choose the top answer.
-CUT SCENE-
Nashiya, the Force Master will now have joined your party. Get the MAGIC SCROLL [Unlocking] from the blonde guy.
Exit the room and go into the door on the W side of the two staircases. Follow the hallway W to a door with a magic lock (see pic). Open your menu with Button 1 and choose the Magic sub menu which is the top, right option. Choose Nashiya and use her Magic Unlock spell. Now go inside the room to get ITEM (Ability +1).
Now go upstairs and find another door with a magic lock. Unlock it the same way you did the previous one.
Follow the hallway all the way to the middle of this room (see pic) to warp.
-WARP-
What the heck? Seems our world has been turned upside down! Walk SW and take the stairs.
Follow the path around to the fountain. Press Button I for a full health Recovery. (see pic)
Walk W past the magic locked door then go S at the statue. Press the wall button here. (see pic) There's quite a few of these in this area so get used to looking for them.
Go back to the magic lock door and use Nashiya's magic to unlock it.
There are two sets of stairs here. I'll call them stairs "A" and "B" (see pic).
Go "up" stairs "A". Go N then W and step onto the elevator platform. Going up! (er..or down or whatever)
Press the wall button then step onto the red warp pad.
-WARP-
Flip the lever and press the wall button here. Step back onto the warp pad.
-WARP-
Step back onto the elevator platform. Now step off, head S and flip the lever.
Go back N, then bypassing the elevator, head E then S and back down stairs "A".
Now use stairs "B". Go W to stairs "C" (see pic). NOTE: Do NOT flip the switch you see in this picture. You can read the Epitaph on the wall if you want but it is of course written in Japanese.
Go N to the statue. Press Button I and he should give you a "hand" (see pic).
Go E, press the wall button, and step on the warp pad.
-WARP-
Step on the elevator platform. Now go W around the stairs and onto the other elevator platform.
Go W, press wall button and step on warp.
-WARP-
Head N and use the stairs.
Now go N to the SAVE POINT. Step on the secret switch here (see pic) to reveal another warp pad. Step on warp pad.
-WARP-
Go W, press wall button and step onto warp pad.
-WARP-
Get the PERMANENT HOLIX [Crystal Of Protection] here! (see pic) Step back on the warp pad.
-WARP-
Go E, press wall button and step onto warp pad.
-WARP-
Step onto the elevator platform. Now walk W and up the stairs. Step on the elevator platform here for the long ride up.
-CUT SCENE-
Cool, evil bats! Nashiya gets A Crystal Piece and Magic Power Up.
-WARP-
We're back in the magic house. Go downstairs and exit the house.
-CUT SCENE-
Now things are getting real interesting. Seems we got an Invitation to the Mines. Choose bottom answer. We got a few things to take care of first before heading off to the Mines.
Go N of town to the Castle (see map if you have to). Nice looking place but time for sight seeing later. Go straight N into the castle.
Once inside (see pic), go W then N to stairs up. Head S to a locked room with two chests inside. Lock pick the door and go inside to get TOOL (health potion) and TOOL (max HP+1 when used).
Now go back the way you came to where you came in. This time, go E then N to stairs up. Head S to the locked room and lock pick the door. Get the TRINKET [Protect Ring] and the ARMOR [Magic Robe] inside. These are good items to equip Nashiya with.
Back to where you came in. Now go N and into the throne room. Talk to the King. He'll play a bit of a "slot machine" type game with you. Just press Button I and you should end up with some extra item in your inventory. The King leaves the room.
Attempt to leave the way you came in and...
-CUT SCENE-
Now head on out of the Castle S and back to the city.
You may as well visit the church now. Go inside and talk to the Priest and he'll tell you of a few items we'll be finding later on in the game. The only other thing of interest here now is the man you can make a donation to which will give you Holix. 50 gold gets you 5 of your choice while 100 gets you 10. Be sure you have some for your healing spells then exit.
Ok, time to upgrade your weapons and armor. You probably don't have a lot of money but may have a few extra bits of TREASURE that could be sold. There is a man in Rostarl who will buy gems and such (building "H") but he only gives you half price. What I chose to do instead is, exit town and go back to Marah and sell them to the woman in the "waterfall house". You'll notice that when you leave town to the world map that a new area "Mines" is opened up. That's where you'll be heading next but first things first.
After you've sold off your excess gold rocks and such, go back into Rostarl. Visit the Armor, Weapons and Potion shops and upgrade as best you can. I hope to have a weapons and armor list up someday but until then, you're on your own. ^_^
Once you're properly equipped, visit the SAVE POINT in Rostarl. Time to head on into the Mines.
