Wake up in the church in Yalem.
Ring the church bell then go downstairs for service.
After service, girl joins you.
Even though you are only 5 years old, read all of the books in the church. You should read 2 books per bookcase. INT exp will go up 10 points for each book read. Remember, knowledge is power. ^_^
SAVE POINT in church basement.
Exit the church and talk to redheaded woman standing out front. Choose top answer for 20 more INT exp points.
Feeling hungry after church? Go to the big house W of the church and talk to the boy sitting at the loooong table. Choose left answer for a nice meal and more importantly to raise your HP +1!
While you're in this house, you may as well snoop around a bit. Head upstairs to the SW bedroom and search cabinet for 2 gold. Back down to the kitchen and search to find 10 gold. Now head to the basement to find 5 gold and TOOL. Use TOOL for INT +1!
Exit house and go to the inn located in the SE of town.
Enter the inn. Looks like a nice little bed and breakfast but why is there a monkey sitting on the bar? Does the health inspector know about this? Anyway...
Go upstairs and find man with guitar in room. Talk to him to find out about the NECKLACE.
Exit INN and go E to the ARMOR store.
Talk to boy in back room until he lays the NECKLACE on the table.
Take the NECKLACE back to man with guitar in the inn.
Return to the church and talk with the priestess and the high priest.
-CUT SCENE-
Exit the church and go to the wizard's house located past bridge in NE part of town.
Talk to wizard twice, choose top answer and he gives you a "SCROLL". Congratulations, you have just recieved your first MAGIC SCROLL [Healing]. It's a healing spell that will come in very handy later on.
Return to the church.
-CUT SCENE-
Go downstairs and talk to high priest twice.
-CUT SCENE- where you will recieve all your baby items including some TREASURE,TRINKETS, and your first PERMANENT HOLIX [Pendant Of The King]. You're now a man ready to take on the world.
You are now at the WORLD MAP. I'm sure your ready to move on to the next town, but first reenter Yalem. Trust me, it's worth it. ^_^
Enter the INN and go upstairs to the NE room. The door is locked you say? Ah, but we know where the secret switch is (see pic). Enter the room and use the other switch in the NE corner of the room which will open the next door. Get the key off of shelf. Hold onto it because you may want it later. May as well grab the 4 gold in the dresser while you're at it. Now it's time to go get some easy money!
Exit INN and go to the well in the W part of town. Remember the boy that had the NECKLACE? Talk to him now and he gives you 200 gold! That's going to come in handy down the road.
We're done in Yalem for now. Time to head on to Jupito.
