Outer Forest Area

You will encounter quite a few enemies in this area but nothing you shouldn't be able to handle. They're really more annoying than anything.

There are Holix laying around to pick up and they will regenerate if you leave and reenter this area so grab as many as you can.

Too complicated to give specific directions here so work your way through the forest until you come to the ferry crossing. (see pic ) Choose top answer and ride across.

Fight your way N, then E until you come to the entrance of the Lava Sanctuary. Go inside.

Yeolgue Lava Sanctuary

Press the "arm switch" on the statue to open up a stairway. Take the stairs down, then down the next stairs as well.

There are many wall switches here but you should be able to figure them out on your own. I'll just tell you the items you'll want to pick up along the way.

Be sure to grab the ARMOR [Magic Plate] here (see pic).

Get the TRINKET [Fire Gem] here (see pic).

Go down the stairs to a SAVE POINT.

Step on the secret floor switch here (see pic) to shut off the fire wall.

Walk W and grab the PERMANENT HOLIX [Crystal Of Fire] and the MAGIC SCROLL [Meteorite] (see pic).

Walk here (see pic) and go down the stairs to find out how to flip the wall switches (right,left,right). Back up the stairs, past the switches and down more stairs.

Grab both of the TREASURE [Energy Capsule] here then back up the stairs.

Ok, find your way over to this door (see pic) leading to stairs and go through and down.

Insert the energy capsule here (see pic) to freeze the lava.

Step on the secret floor switch here (see pic) then grab the TOOL [Source Of Power] and flip the lever.

Before going back up the stairs, you can go into this room here (see pic) for a -FIGHT- and a TREASURE [Ruby]. When you're finished, go back upstairs and through the door.

Go all the way W to stairs down then repeat what you just did on the other side. Insert the energy capsule to freeze the lava, step on the hidden floor switch, grab the TOOL [Source Of Physical Strength] and flip the lever. When you flip this lever, doors will open up to a staircase. Go there and up the stairs.

Walk S and you'll come to a statue by a staircase down (see pic). Press the "arm switch" on the statue and the fire doors will be opened. May as well go there now and grab the WEAPON [Burning Tilt Sword] then come back here. Don't worry, I'll wait for you.

Got it? Good. Now go down the stairs then down another set of stairs to a SAVE POINT. Hmmmm...wonder why that might be there.

Go N to -FIGHT-. Nope, not done yet. Now we get -BOSS FIGHT-.

After defeating Bastard Gear, get the TREASURE [Truth Candle] and TREASURE [God Of Fire Idol] (see pic).

You can now exit the sanctuary and Yeolgue and head back once again to Rostarl.
